Hair Removal for Men Options

Experts are reporting more and more that men are opting to do the same grooming options that women have always done. Hair removal is no exception. However, where it is second nature to women, men often find themselves at a loss for where to begin with removing any unwanted excess hair. Thankfully men you are not alone, and there are many options from which you can choose from. Listed below are some options you may choose to consider:

Laser Treatment

Perhaps the latest and most effective option for hair removal is the laser treatment method. The FDA (Federal Drug Administration) approved the first laser hair removal treatment in 1995. For long term hair removal, the laser treatment method appears to be safe and effective. Here is a link for laser hair removal pricing.

Waxing

If you are capable of being able to handle the pain, then waxing is another option you may consider. Lasting up to six weeks, waxing can be done at home for an average price of $6-$9. Or if you would rather schedule an appointment with a salon, their prices may run anywhere between $30-$60. You may use the waxing for uni-brows, back hair and even facial hair. Use the waxing treatment if you dare as most people cannot stand having a band-aid removed from their skin. Remember hair and everything else goes with the strip when it is ready to be removed. If you choose to do this at home make sure you do not get the wax too hot and burn yourself. Also, make sure you do not wax over any moles or warts.

Depilatories

For less than $10 at a drugstore the option of buying a depilatory, like Nair or Veet, may also appeal to you. Depilatories dissolves hair and can be used on chest hair or back hair. However, using it on facial hair is not as good as an old fashion shave. If you fear a possible allergic reaction, try a little bit on the underside of your wrist first. Be very careful, and follow all of the directions just like they read. If you leave the product on too long it can cause a chemical burn.

For you men that are looking for the low down on permenant hair removal, the above are just a few options that you may choose from. Remember there are many more options out there, the trick is finding the right one for you.
