Small Corner Bathtubs Increase Usable Space

Bathrooms never seem to be big enough. No matter how big the bathroom is, it seems like we could always use just a few more feet to really enjoy it. Many times we place items that are much larger than we actually need in our bathrooms. Huge vanities that resemble kitchen countertops more than they do a bathroom sink and countertop. Also, many people have huge walk-in shower enclosures that look more like they belong in a sports locker room than a private bathroom. People love to overdo it to the point that they actually take away from the enjoyment of the bathroom by cramming everything they can get into it. However, by simply making a couple of small changes you can greatly increase the space in your bathroom and get back a little room to move around.

The first thing you need to do to increase the space in your bathroom is to get rid of that huge double sink vanity. How often do you and your spouse use the sink at the exact same time? So, do you really need two sinks in your bathroom? Simply installing a new smaller vanity with one sink and an adequate amount of counter space could provide you with an additional 8 ft.² of space in your bathroom. Many people love to see double sink vanities in bathrooms; however, rarely are they ever used at the same time.

Another way to gain valuable space in your bathroom is to replace your traditional tub with a small corner bathtub. Just like replacing the vanity this can gain you several square feet of additional space. These new small bathtubs can be found to fit any décor and are easily installed. Simply instituting these small changes in your bathroom can yield big returns by way of space-saving.
