After all the preparations, and all of the hard work the couple, or the hired planner or designer, have put on themselves in choosing the right decorations and wedding centerpieces, the wedding will finally end. After all, good things never seem to last, and weddings, simply are just one of those temporary joys of life. Considering that, most couples are often troubled by the thought of what to do with the centerpieces they used for their weddings, after the wedding. They have served their purpose, and, the best thing to do about them is, to throw them? No.

Here are one of the more common things that couple with the centerpieces after the reception and wedding is over.

  • For floral and fruit centerpieces, considering that they are degradable, and will decay in a couple of days, or even hours, they are mostly thrown away. Some though, are given to the guests.
  • If one opted to use one of the more unique wedding centerpieces, such as a portrait of the couple, or a poem, or an essay, or any other else. They can choose a particular person from the table to take home the centerpiece. However, most of the time, they are given to the bridesmaid, as a taken of appreciation and generosity.
  • For centerpieces that can still be recycled and reused, such as glass vases, and others that will not decay or degrade. They can be used to gain some money, especially since they can be rented and used again for another wedding.

With all the things that one can possibly do with the centerpieces they used for the wedding, it is not surprising that most would go for edible centerpieces. After all, doing so, allows them to save up a little from the catering, as well as save them the hassle of stressing themselves on what to do with the centerpieces after the wedding is over.
